Welcome! I’m a local, independent studio florist based in Mechanicsville, VA, offering daily floral delivery to area funeral homes and hospitals for your convenience.

I’m a proud Varina native who has tried to leave Richmond a few times—but always found my way back. There truly is no place like home. My husband and I moved back to Richmond in 2018 after getting married, and we’ve since settled here in Mechanicsville.

My love for floral design began during the pandemic, when we planted nearly 80 rose bushes in 2020. Before heading to my shift at the hospital, I would cut fresh roses and arrange them in small vases to brighten up the main reception desk on my unit. Seeing the smiles they brought to my coworkers sparked something in me—and that passion eventually blossomed into a new career.

I worked as a registered nurse for 24 years, specializing in critical care, ER, recovery, home health, appeals, and outpatient clinics. Now semi-retired, I still work PRN in a pre-op/PACU unit, while devoting my heart and creativity to floral design. I’ve also gained experience working in a retail flower shop before launching my own floral studio.

The common thread between nursing and floristry? Bringing joy and comfort to others. Whether caring for patients or crafting arrangements, I’ve always found purpose in making someone’s day brighter.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my nursing career was providing end-of-life care. It was a profound honor to be present with patients and their families during such sacred moments. Now, I consider it just as meaningful to create sympathy arrangements that help families express love, grief, and remembrance.

I hold a Floral Design Certificate from Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and have received specialized training in wedding work, including wearable florals, foam-free mechanics, and large-scale installations.
